Chris has over 20 years of experience providing tax consulting and compliance services to businesses in various industries, as well as private client services to individuals and their families, including gift and estate planning. He has advised clients through the business cycle of initial structuring and planning, on worldwide operations and ultimately through succession and sale. Chris has considerable experience in advising high net worth individuals, start-up companies, real estate professionals, sophisticated investors, and their employees on deferred compensation arrangements. Chris received his degrees from University of Albany and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Melissa Marra, EA
Partner
After graduating from Boston University with degrees in Accounting and Finance, Melissa spent her career at both regional and large national accounting firms based in New York and California. Her focus has been on advising high net worth individuals and closely-held businesses on tax planning and compliance matters. To better service her clients, Melissa helped formed DiLorenzo & Marra as a specialty boutique tax firm where she utilizes a large network of experienced consulting practitioners. Melissa approaches each client as a trusted advisor, seeking to guide clients by taking into account their current needs and long-term goals. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is licensed as an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service.
